This is a recent image of my granny and I at a wedding dance (she's a total legend); I looked around the space and thought 'yup, this is what it's about!'...I adore the happiness and perspective that comes with commitment and naming ceremonies, for couples and their loved ones.
Over the last 10 years I've worked in cultural education, from directing a small arts charity to lecturing at the University of the Highlands and Islands. I've also kept my hand in with fitness instructing (really as a guarantee that I exercise!). This experience has prepared me well for working with people, being creative in my approach...and projecting my voice to the back of a room!

I am a 56-year-old Mum of two from Elgin.
I have spent the last 34 years of my working life in youth and community work, preparing me well for the most challenging of situations!
Although I hold no religious attachments I am a believer in faith, as I have enormous faith in people. People can indeed move mountains, they have the power to understand, to empathise, to care and to heal.
I love a chat over a cuppa, like most women we can solve world problems with milk and one! And there's always cake, should we ever struggle.
To be invited into someone's home, to listen to another's story and to support in a time of pain and uncertainty is trust. Please trust in me.
